Home Making
I've been reading through the book of John as homework for some training I'm doing and I just love learning more about who God is and how He works in my life. This morning, I was reading John 11-14 and one of the many things that jumped out at me was in John 14.23 and 17. "Jesus answered him, 'If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him' and '...even the Spirit of truth...You know him because he dwells with you and will be in you." The idea of the Trinity-the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit-making their home in me was such a wondrous thought to me. As someone who loves being a homemaker, this stirs up excitement and deep warmth in me. As a sinner, I am awed by the truth that His grace covers me and is poured out on me. As I ponder the holiness of God and believe that He would even consider making His home with me and in me, I am overwhelmed. As I think of homemaking, I thin
